AmoebaCorp. - Fusing art and design into a dynamic identity
A design studio comprised of youthful, energetic, and talented creatives was interested in a refreshed identity. The interests expressed from the design staff ranged from studio arts to programming, architecture to education, graphic design and culture. The challenge was in expressing this rich cross section of influences within an identity.
The collective skill set of the team created an exciting and experimental atmosphere, leveraged as an asset within the brand. One of the most referenced design elements – the grid system — was applied into the visual language in two configurations. One grid, structured and consistent, represented the world of design, while a more random grid represented the world of art and cultural production. A distinctive word mark was designed, introducing a series of pixels into one of the letterforms as a reference to technology and digital interfaces.
The result is a distinctive and memorable identity that earned the studio a deeper sense of professionalism and credibility, gaining access to larger corporate clients and the ability to grow as a studio.

The visual identity and resulting stationery package designed for AmoebaCorp garnered a mention from ADDC as well as acclaim from French Paper Company within their yearly award package. Showcasing a wide array of production processes, the stationery exhibits in physical form the broad range of exploration of AmoebaCorp studio's willingness to explore and produce within substrates and mindset.
